DrinkPAK: Investing in Our People for Future Growth

Updated: Sep 18

Building a Skilled Workforce

At DrinkPAK, growth isn’t just about scaling operations—it’s about investing in people. We know that the future of our business, our partners, and the beverage industry depends on building a skilled, empowered workforce. That’s why training and talent development remain at the heart of our strategy.

PAK University: A Commitment to Talent Development

Through PAK University, our talent development program, we’re equipping PAK Members with the skills to thrive in a high-performance, high-tech manufacturing environment. Recent highlights include:

  • California Training Fund. Our California facility was awarded a $200,000 training reimbursement contract through California’s Employment Training Panel (ETP) program. This funding supports the expansion of our training efforts—from onboarding and safety to technical skills, leadership development, and career pathways—while reinvesting back into our Learning & Development (L&D) programs.

  • Lean Six Sigma Education. Through programs like Yellow Belt and Green Belt certification, employees gain hands-on experience applying the DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control) process to real-world projects.

  • Hands-On Technical Training. Partnering with industry leaders like Krones, we host specialized training on our machine centers and automation systems. These learning sessions combine classroom learning with hands-on application, ensuring our teams are ready to optimize performance and adapt to the latest packaging innovations.

  • Leadership Development. PAK Members dedicate five months in our LEAD (Leadership, Empowerment, and Development) program. LEAD emphasizes critical areas such as communication, time management, team building, and change management—skills that empower our leaders to guide their teams effectively in fast-paced environments.

Our People: The Heart of Our Operations

As we continue to expand, one thing is clear: our people are our greatest strength. From frontline operators to emerging leaders, we’re committed to building careers—not just jobs. By continuing to invest in training, upskilling, and leadership development, we’re preparing our workforce to meet today’s challenges and tomorrow’s opportunities.

The Importance of Continuous Learning

Continuous learning is vital in our industry. The beverage landscape is always changing. New technologies and consumer preferences emerge regularly. To stay ahead, we must adapt. Our training programs ensure our team is not only knowledgeable but also agile. This agility allows us to respond quickly to market demands.

A Culture of Empowerment

Empowerment is at the core of our culture. We believe that when our employees feel valued and equipped, they perform better. This culture fosters innovation and collaboration. Employees are encouraged to share ideas and take initiative. This leads to improved processes and products, benefiting everyone involved.

Hear from Our Team

“Investing in our people is essential to DrinkPAK’s success—not just today, but for years to come," says Justin Wallace, Director of Learning & Development. His words resonate throughout our organization. Employees feel motivated and inspired to contribute to our mission.

Looking Ahead: Our Vision for the Future

As we look to the future, our vision remains clear. We aim to be the go-to partner for beverage brands. We will help them quickly bring their canned drinks to market with top-notch technology and massive production capacity. Expanding our network across the country is crucial. This expansion will allow us to serve more customers effectively.

Conclusion: A Commitment to Excellence

In conclusion, our commitment to excellence is unwavering. We understand that our success hinges on our people. By investing in their growth and development, we ensure a bright future for DrinkPAK and our partners. Together, we will navigate the challenges and seize the opportunities that lie ahead.
